Namibia the Game Lodge

Built on a hunting farm in Namibia, the Game Lodge is designed to harmonize with its surroundings. The low-lying, linear volume is formed by walls made from the plot's red sand and plaster, blending the structure into the vast landscape. Topped with a folded metal roof, the corrugated sheeting extends beyond the exterior over a large veranda. The overhangs shield the outdoor area from the intense sun while still affording unobstructed views across the site. Internally, concrete floors complete the muted palette and glass doors slide open to create a seamless transition between the living spaces and the outdoors.
